Raymond G. Yunk, Jr.

Raymond G. Yunk, Jr., 63, of Emlenton, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday morning at his residence from natural causes. Born July 23, 1952, he was the son of the late Raymond Sr. and Olive M. Cook Yunk. Raymond proudly served in the United States Marine Corp., where he was honorably discharged as a Sergeant E-5 as an aviation ordinance specialist. Later in his life he graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in computer animation. Raymond was very proud of this accomplishment. He was an avid outdoorsman where he was an expert in the art of fly tying and fishing. Raymond loved his three grand-daughters Evelyn, Alexis and Aubrey Ruckdeschel whom survive and would spend as much time as possible with them. He is survived by one daughter: Amanda (Mike) Ruckdeschel of Emlenton, Pa. Three sisters: Elaine Nichols of NC, Kimberly Freeman and Shelly Taylor both of Pittsburgh. One brother: Curt Yunk of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Wilson Yunk who passed in 1983, as well as one sister Earlene Yunk. At the request of the family there will be no services.
