GERALDINE M. "Gerry" KRIEBEL, 80, of Parker passed away Sunday afternoon (5-12-13) at VNA In-Patient Hospice in Butler following a lengthy illness. Born in Perry Twp., Clarion Co., on May 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude Campbell Myers. She was a graduate of the former Parker High School, and had been employed at Arnot-Ogden Hospital in Elmira, NY and at the Parker Post Office. "Gerry" was proud to have reared and baptized in the Methodist faith. For much of her adult life she attended the Church of God, and at her passing was a member of the Park Hill Church of God at West Freedom. She was a member of the Women of the Church of God. She was very attentive to writing letters to shut-ins, to those who had lost a loved one, and inviting those without a church to attend church regularly. Surviving are a daughter and husband, Carol (Dean) Jackson of DuBois, Pa. and two sons and wives, Greg (Pollyanne) Kriebel and Tim (Kathy) Kriebel, all of Emlenton. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Kriebel, and three brothers, Ed, Rich, and James (Junior) Myers. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM today (Tuesday) at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday morning at the funeral home with Rev. Dan Myers, her nephew and a United Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial at family's convenience in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Dutch Hill.
