DOLORES HUGHES, 81, of Grove City, formerly of the Eau Claire area, passed away at 5:46 AM Tuesday morning at Grove City Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 22, 1930, she was daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Haydock Pavelek. She was protestant by faith. Dolores retired from the custodial department of Moniteau School District following over twenty years of service. Following she and her late husband's retirement, they travelled extensively throughout the United States, and took advantage of many opportunities to go camping. She was a member for many years of the Stitch and Chatter Club of Eau Claire. A devoted family lady, she is survived by a daughter: Beth (Tony) Cimoric of Mercer; four sons: Rich (Brenda) Hughes of Hooker, Basil "Bucky" Hughes, Jr. of Eau Claire, Dave (Martha) Hughes of Higgins Corners, and Tim (Cheryl) Hughes of Eau Claire; nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Basil D. Hughes, Sr. who passed away Nov. 22, 2003
