BERNETA J. O'HARA, 72, of Hagantown, near Parker, passed away Tuesday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness. Born in her family home at Hagantown on April 1, 1941, she was the daughter of Agnes C. Fair O'Hara with whom she resided, and the late Eugene Stone O'Hara. Berneta was a faithful member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Parker City Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years. She worked diligently in the company kitchen helping with fund raising dinners as well as preparing foods to sell at bingo night. She was protestant by faith. She is survived by mother, Agnes O'Hara, three aunts: Sara Strnad of New York, Mona Vensel of Chicora, and Shirley Cooper of North Carolina; one uncle: Leslie O. Fair of Rochester, Pa.; also surviving are many cousins. Friends may call from 7-9 PM today (Thurs.) and from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home with interment to follow at Perryville Cemetery, near Parker.
