E. JEAN WECKERLY, 90, of Grove City, formerly of Emlenton and Perryville, passed away Tuesday morning (10-16-2018) at VNA In-Patient Care Center in Butler following a period of declining health.
Born in Clarion, Pa. on Feb. 2, 1928, she was daughter of late Harold and Mildred Lieder Wolfe.
She was married on June 8, 1946 to John (Jack) Weckerly who passed away June 19, 2005.
Protestant by faith, Jean loved to practice the art of crochet as long as health permitted.
Survived by daughter: Christine (Chris) Bailey and husband James of Niles, OH; three sons: Larry of Emlenton, John of Ebensburg, and Daniel (all Weckerly) of Clarion; four grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren; sister Cindy Burkey of Champion, OH; brother Harold Wolfe of Marlboro, MA., and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Sue Weckerly; sisters Ethel Yingling and Pat Morris; brother Frank Wolfe.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker where funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM. Private burial at a later date in Perryville Cemetery.
