Carrol E. Conner, 72, of Toby, Twp., Clarion, Co.(Rimersburg), passed away at the Butler Memorial Hospital on Sunday evening (12-30-18) after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in North Apollo, Pa. on Sept. 28th, 1946, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Alice E. Baker Nicholson. Carrol was an LPN at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo for over ten years. Carrol was protestant by faith. She was married on May 4, 1965 to James C. Conner who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son: Bryan S. (Patty Weiss) Conner of Queenstown-Karns City. One daughter: Karen F. (James) McClune of Strattenville. Four grandchildren: Amanda Maley, Jenny (Leo) Hotkowski, Erica (Charley) Goodman, and Scott McClune; three great-grandchildren: Lydia Haley, Gabby and Liam Hotkowshi; one half-brother: Dwight Nicholson; one brother-in-law: Rick Conner; two sisters-in-law: Marcy (Rick) Custer and Laurie (Scott) Stitt.
Friends will be received at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Parker (201 S. Wayne Ave.) on Saturday from 2-4 & 6-8. The funeral will be on Sunday at 2:30 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Tom Switzer officiating. Interment will follow Monday morning at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Conneration.
