NANCY J. MESSER, 85, of Parker passed away at her home Monday evening (05-20-13) surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 23, 1928 in Harts Creek, WV, she was daughter of the late Hezz and Alice Williams Barett. Protestant by faith, she attended the Church of God of Prophecy for many years, and at the time of her passing, she was a member of the Country Gospel Church of Callensburg. Surviving are five daughters: Pearly (William) Adams of Volant, Juanita (Richard) Woods and Debbie (Bobby) Smith of Parker, Barbara Ralston of Phoenix, AZ, and Linda Nelson of Mesa, Az.; two sons: Hezz (Marcette) Messer of Greenville and Clem Clarence (Janet) Messer of Grove City; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters: Bertha Curtis, Sharon Fratini, and Pam Neuman; three brothers: Paul, Corbin, and Jerry Bryant; number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Messer in 1994, a son Tennis Messer in 1992, and an infant son, Louis David Messer. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Adams, her grandson, and Rev. Leonard Forsythe, her pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset View Memorial Garden at Cranberry (Venango Co.), Pa.
